What we store

• Account data: your user ID, display name, avatar, email address (used for sign-up, login and password reset) and a hashed password.
• Messages and files: all chats are end-to-end encrypted by default. The server stores only encrypted content it cannot read, plus metadata needed to deliver it (who is in a chat, timestamps, device IDs).
• Push notifications: a device push token is stored to wake your device. Notification payloads contain no message content.
• Calls: call media is encrypted and relayed through our media server; calls are not recorded.

What we don't do

No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no sale or sharing of data with third parties, except our email delivery provider for sending verification codes.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account, profile and email from the server.
